Robot Building
Our Lego Robotics EV3 class is designed to mimic the engineering design process used by scientists and engineers in many industries.  Throughout the process, class members gain and use knowledge of science, technology, and mathematics as they engineer a solution.

Understand and use engineering design process and skills, mathematical skills and concepts, such as proportions and ratios, graphing data, and multi-digit computation.

Understand cross-cutting concepts, such as systems, patterns, structure and function, and logical thinking.

Understand the role of troubleshooting, invention and innovation, and experimentation in problem solving.

Intro to Electronics
This course is a perfect introduction to concepts for students interested in computers, robotics, or electronics.  Using a variety of wires, batteries, LED lights, and other items, students will build their own circuits to develop an understanding of how electronics function.  Students will build and test a burglar alarm, and electronic police siren, and model railroad lights for hands-on comprehensive learning.
